To achieve this, there must be a balance between the different benefits of the solution, since it is common for the improvement of one benefit to be offset by the worsening of another. For example, increasing the surface mass of a wall has a positive impact on its acoustic insulation, but can penalize its thermal insulation capacity.\r\n\r\nThus, when choosing the optimal type of fa\u00e7ade or interior wall, we will opt for the one that provides sufficient values to meet all the requirements, and not a solution that provides the best value for a specific parameter, but which nevertheless does not reach the minimum value to meet some other required condition.\r\n\r\nTo help architects and designers in this decision, the Guild of Rajolers of the Valencian Community with the collaboration of the Generalitat Valenciana through the INENTI Project, and Hispalyt, have published the &#8216;Technical Manual Facades and interior walls of bricks and ceramic blocks for coat&#8217;.\r\n\r\nBricks and ceramic blocks: solutions that comply\r\n\r\nThe manual describes through tables each of the different construction solutions for facades, separating walls and partitions, made with bricks and ceramic blocks.
